We at Hearsay Gastro Lounge are pleased to be in the midst of Houston history in this great building. The W. L. Foley Building, the second building on the block designed by prolific Texas courthouse architect Eugene T. Heiner was buit in 1889. Much of the credit for the current state of the great building goes to former owner Lee Benner.

Omg the Calamari and Shrimp appetizer was good the Cocktails were unique and different and the fried Chicken with Cheesy Mashed Potatoes with Collard Greens......slap your momma approved ��! Great Setting in our great city! H-Town well represented.
The food was good. My friend and I ordered the chicken biscuit Benedict/breakfast tacos, but it came out COLD And I'm convinced it was just warmed up in a microwave and replated.
Service and food were great! Next time in in town I'll definitely be back!
Drinks are delicious! We had the tempura lobster as an appetizer and I had the lemon Chicken pasta for dinner! Make reservations if you can :)

Simone was an excellent waitress for our small group on Steak Night! The food was delicious and ambiance hit the mark. We'll be back to try more on the menu.

Very cool scene - nice menu but poor execution. We ordered a few starters and I was very hopeful for they were very good. Wedge salad was pretty good as well but it wasn't by any means a wedge by definition. The entre was very disappointing. I got the seafood risotto and the seafood was very small pieces and there simply wasn't very much in the dish. The risotto was undercooked and crunchy. I ate half of it only because I was starving.
