I’ll start by saying that the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the customer service was very dreadful. I explained to the cashier that this was my first time visiting the establishment and asked her. How does the process work. She simply said you just pick what you want. She seemed to not want to be bothered, even though there were no other customers present. Customer service was horrible, but the food was delicious. Try it at your own risk or go in and be ready to match energy.
Ordered a jasmine rice bowl with chicken, sauteed peppers, brussel sprouts, and teriyaki pineapple sauce. SO GOOD! The chicken and peppers had a delicious char on them. I'd recommend it to anyone!
I have never been treated so poorly by a food establishment. I was literally refused service from Healthy Soul because I did not want to include a vegetable in my dish. I wanted to order rice, sauce, and chicken in my dish. The lady working the register said a vegetable was required because the whole point of Healthy Soul was for people to eat healthier and she wouldn't ring up my dish if I didn't pick a vegetable. This isn’t your typical slop bowl experience. This is a premium, tasty, different experience entirely. And they have halal meat and good quality veggies! what more can one want? The only thing is you will be paying premium price for a meal here but this is the probably tastiest lunch I can remember having.
