VERY dangerous to get to if you don't have a car (or a lift from someone who does) - the nearest bus stop is a 12 minute walk on an awful excuse for a path right next to a very busy 40mph road, with no crossing point (and yes you do need to cross). It's unbelievable that this is allowed - safe access to health care should be for everyone, not just car-owners. Desperately needs a bicycle lane too!
Came in for a MRI via referral from my physio Jordan on reception was super helpful and polite, had my scans sent to me by 9pm. MRI took around 15 mins, arrived at 19:30 and was home by 20:05. It was my first MRI experience and although a bit daunting, it wasn’t anything to worry about in the end. Now just to wait for my results 🤞
My son had an ultrasound scan here yesterday and it was not a good experience. He’s 24 but I had gone with him for support because there was a suspicion that he might have the same genetic condition that I have. The radiologist was very abrupt, telling me I had to wait outside, and then broke the bad news to him on his own that he has a life-limiting condition, in a very off-hand manner. I attended for an ultrasound scan on my head and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes which was great thank you to all the staff for such an incredible service.
