My 90 year old mother was taken to Brandon ER at 7PM yesterday January 27, 2021 and she is still in the ER on a gurney. She was tested negative for COVID but I will have her recheck when she gets out of there. Patients are supposed to be turned every 2 hours to prevent bedsores but she is still waiting waiting for 27 hours lying on her back in the ER. Staff nurse or doctor will not answer or return call to family. Visitor is 1 in 24 hours. Very disappointed. She may be dead before she gets a bed.

I went into the emergency room after going in to the urgent care earlier the day before with a busted hand that was black and blue and purple And I knew I needed some kind of x-rays or something needed to be done since urgent care said an mri would probably be needed.They refused to listen to me and what I have already been told by the urgent care and so they did what they wanted to do, took an X-ray, went over it, gave me a Tylenol, pat my head and basically put me on my way without any regard on how I felt or what I’ve exp... read more
This hospital transported my 9 year old son to another hospital (no medical event was occurring that would indicate the need for a transfer) WITHOUT my consent - I am his mother. Zero stars.

RUN!!! DO NOT USE this hospital! I have worked in inpatient hospitals for almost 24 years. My father was brought in by ambulance for a heart attack in Dec 2020 and the level of unprofessionalism and rudeness from a few of his nurses in ICU to Dr Ni, one of his Internal Medicine doctors is appalling. The ICU on the 3rd floor is absolutely disgusting and dirty. It was witnessed numerous times by myself where the nurses would come into my Dad's room UNGLOVED to mess with his IV lines and alike. Atrocious! On 10/26/2000 I came to ER with minor cut on my face. They put two stitches, doctor insisted on CT scan which showed nothing wrong and they said I can go home. I have the Kaiser Advantage insurance which includes Medicare. I am 75 years old. My plan has $50.00 co-pay for ER. Nobody asked me to pay at the exit. On 11/29/2020 I received bill from Los Robles hospital for $5000.00. I called Kaiser agent who contacted Los Robles accounting and agent said the problem fixed.
