Have had an excellent stay here for MDW. We ate at the Hawthorne's own Nathaniel Room, and our server Kathryn was phenomenal. This place is full of personality & offers great service.

The Hawthorne feels like home to my husband and I. Met there, married there and return there as much as we can! Incredible staff ❤️
No power, no back up generator, No water, no shower, no lights, no TV, no elevators..... God help us in a fire. Called via our own cell phones, they said it was a scheduled shut down and the back-up generator will take over when main power goes out (they lied) So now here we sit in the depth of darkness, glad I’m a military guy and always bring a small flash light!
