I really hate to this but someone has to tell the truth. I was invited to this due to my daughter in law who is student at the university. This review doesn't retain to all the employees at the Hawthorne just the alleged judges for the costume contest. When you have such a large event and contest everyone should be treated equally! The so called HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST WAS RIGGED! When the winners where announced by the awful cultural appropriation singer we all need was up. This hotel is wonderful. Comfortable rooms and good service. They try to help anyway they can to make your stay carefree. We will definitely stay here next year.
My husband and I had lunch at the Tavern restaurant 2 weeks ago, the food was delicious and the service was wonderful. We had a situation there and I'm happy to say that they took care of it right away. We are looking forward to returning there again. This is a very beautiful hotel inside and out. They are very caring and understanding kind people. I would highly recommend the Hawthorne Hotel and there establishment. We fell in love with it.

Only had a drink here, but the room is cozy with a crackling fireplace and the staff was warm and welcoming. What’s not to like?
The food never disappoint service and drinks are on point great atmosphere.
