At Hattie's, you'll be pleasantly surprised the variety of entrées offered. It's always the best of what the season has to offer, put together creatively. A glance at the menu and you'll come across some interesting concoctions—buttermilk fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Tasso ham gravy, goat cheese and herb stuffed chicken breast, and BLT pasta. The menu looks different every season!

An absolute gem – I don't know what Billappppppp's problem was, but his review does not fit the Hattie's I know. I eat there an average of twice a month and 19 times out of 20, there is nothing in Dallas to compare for food quality, ambience, friendly attentive service and overall value. Many guests that I've taken there liken it to a restaurant on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, but at a fraction of the cost. It is my favorite restaurant in Dallas; a diamond in a sea of Cubic Zirconia. The best Bloody Mary in Dallas!
User review by superkp – Completely contrary to what some other reviewers have experienced our dinners at Hattie's have been nothing short of fantastic. The entire staff is consistently curteous and our food was meticuliously served and presented. Oak Cliff is an amazing, eclectic and diverse neighborhood... not to be missed!
Food, decor and presentation at this classy Bishop Arts District gem are simple, traditional and contemporary. – The Scene White-on-white modernism meets elegant colonialism in this cool, airy find. A sitting room of white leather chairs welcomes patrons, as does a clay bust of "General Hattie" above the old-fashioned bar.
