I was down bideford Devon, with my niece, when my, dog bandit took bad ! The vet here checked him, out thoroughly very professional, ? He concluded that my, dog had picked up a tracia, virus ! A injection 💉 and 10 anti inflammatory tablets to go ? My dog has now recovered thanks to this vet ! Also the bill was only a fraction of what I normally pay, at my regular vet ! My horses and dogs go to Gavin and through all their ailments, some requiring operations, have all had fantastic treatment…. Yes, Gavin doesn’t use flowery words to clients, his focus is on the animal, but I'd rather have a straight talking professional vet who doesn’t rip the shirt off my back than one who pampers to me and then charges me a fortune. Gavin and his team are there for the animals and not necessarily for the humans. That’s why it’s called a veterinary practice.
I’ve been using Hatchmoor Veterinary Practice practically since they opened. I can’t thank and praise Gavin & the team enough. From routine appointments to emergency call-outs on weekends and nights. Always on the end of the telephone for advice and nothing is ever too much trouble. If it wasn’t for Gavin & the team I would’ve lost a number of litters of puppies over the years. Brilliant vet & team.
Hatchmoor saw my cat at very short notice and with no fuss. We had been quoted an extortionate price at our regular vet for one tooth extraction. Hatchmoor extracted nine teeth at £300 less than my vet had quoted for just one. The exam room is large and cool with open doors into other areas. A much nicer experience than the tiny hot windowless rooms I'm used to at our regular vet. It was a round trip of 46 miles but I will go to Hatchmoor for any future procedures. 10/10
