My husband and I showed up at the dealership on Sunday with a specific vehicle in mind. We are motivated buyers. Test drove the car, talked with a salesman and set up an appointment to return to talk numbers and to seal the deal. Appointment was for Tuesday night at 5:00 PM. We arrived at the dealer and the salesman was not there -- he was at a car show. I feel completely disrespected and de-valued as a customer and will not recommend nor return to this dealership. Just picked up my plates for my new vehicle. Disappointed they didn't offer to put them on. It's the small things that make a big difference in customer service.
We have bought three cars from Dave at Hastings Ford and have always felt very welcomed and will continue to go there and buy our cars thanks to all the staff there.
When a customer brings their vehicle in to be looked at because it is shifting hard, usually the dealer will take a look at it. Instead this dealer (Hastings) tells me 10 minutes after they look into my VIN the reason my car is shifting hard is because of a recent recall that was fixed, and decided to not test drive it or even open the door. I can't believe that Hastings Ford posts among it's thank you notes from local youth groups and high school, a note that refers to President Obama as evil!!!
