I’ve been with this surgery for years and it used to be excellent. But I’ve been disappointed recently by the inability to get an appointment. I have no problem with the eConsult process but when it’s triaged by a GP and they deem an appointment is needed, the process falls apart. A text is sent with a link to book an appointment and the link is valid for 7 days. However, there are never any appointments available! I changed doctors because the care you receive from this surgery is zero… my son dislocated his shoulder spent 8 hours at urgent care then a few days later needed pain meds and was told they are to busy go back to urgent care- to busy to write a prescription, rather put strain on A+E My daughter had severe mental health and eating disorder no care received the doctors I’m now with see her regularly for blood test, weight checks and for check in whilst we wait for cahms to take over. Twice this week I had to phone up to make an appointment for each of my elderly parents. The receptionist was very helpful and filled out the triage form for me, resulting in both my parents being seen the same day as the call. I felt she was very understanding of the situation and wanted the best outcome for each of my parents .

A disaster! I’d like to note that I have spoken to a wonderful doctor in the past at this practice and by no means does this relate to the GPS rather more the process to gain access to a GP which is now virtually impossible. You can no longer speak to a receptionist let alone a doctor if you don’t complete an online e-consult form. Having just completed mine at midday Wednesday 24/4, I have received an email to confirm that I will receive a reply by 6.30pm 29/4. A response time of up to 5 days….Really??
