Would not recommend.
The worst. Dealt with at home care & hospice personnel. No one can communicate accurately, they cannot deal with questions & criticism. Even the nurse at my husband's primary care questioned why they were sending a dying man to ER for low bp (and they didn't even test bp a 2nd time, on other arm). Different personal care aides and family members noticed discrepancies in care, tried to provide clarifying info. to help the nurses make decisions but were summarily ignored/dismissed leading to prolonged, painful wound care wi... read more
I am giving the HHC Hospice care at home a zero. Allowed my husband to die with no dignity. Propaganda driven organization
Extraordinarily unpleasant. Plenty of discrimination. Unpleasant, nasty and cruel staff.
Didn’t contact until 6 days after discharge
RecommendedWhat an amazing organization filled with compassionate caregivers. Even the medical delivery folks were angels. This was the most compassionate and gentle way to end a life and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Hartford Health Care at Home has provided a terrible service . I have hire companions and homemaking people and we got people who seat in the kitchen looking at cellphone. I have come home to find the bed of my loved one already made spite of being soiled. The person was unable to even make a sandwich. I will not recommend this company to my worse enemy

Communication w patients is awful. We never know when nurse will be arriving. And we have no answered about wound supplies. We have bought many out of pocket on our own. They took on my moms care knowing fully about her wound and supplies needed, however it’s a constant fight for such supplies(that are doctor ordered). They truly are concerned about cost over pt care. I highly do NOT recommend them.
