Just got back last week from New Orleans and it was wonderful! Just like the first time we went earlier this year. It has a special place in my husband and my heart :). When we first came, we visited the Harrahs Casino and it was great! The dealer was very personable and professional. We spent several hundred dollars in the casino and it was well worth it. This time, we did the same thing and had an even better time! We learned about the players card, which we didn't know about on our first trip but we made sure to get one t... read more

Interesting diversion in the middle of Downtown. The Hotel and there development of Fulton Street were great for this area near the French Quarter and Super Dome.

Terrible experience. We went to check in at 2:00 in the afternoon and was told that we had to wait on a room. We booked and paid in advance so why did we have to wait? They said we would get a call when it was ready. 4 hours later and still no call we decided to go back and check and was told an automated call was made a little after 4:00. Anyway the next day on our way out of their parking garage we were charged $30 for parking as well. One would think if you paid $230 for a basic room for one night stay the parking would b... read more

We spent Christmas 2016 in New Orleans and attended a Saints game on Christmas Eve. Afterwards we were starving and traffic was a nightmare so we headed straight for Harrah's Casino. We decided to valet park since both my husband and I needed to pee horribly! we dropped the car in the front and walked in the casino. We decided to eat the buffet since it was so late. Plus, living in the Lake Charles, LA area, we are familiar with other casino buffets. Once we paid about $75 for the 2 of us we walked in expecting to see a ma... read more

My experience was interesting because no one really took any notice of us. We played at the table and one/ two times at the slot machine but I think we were nothing spectacular to invite any hazard. It was incidentally my firrrrst time in a casino. The atmosphere made me get over my fear of a casino.

The buffet has been consistently food kept at temperatures in unsafe territory or so hot the food is dried out. The variety is not like it once was either.
