We had an amazing stained glass course with Jo-Ann. I was bowled over with happiness by what I managed to achieve in just one day and with no previous experience of glasswork. Jo-Ann was warm and welcoming and really put us at ease with clear and easy to follow instructions. The design options were all beautiful and there was a huge selection of glass colours to choose from. I had the best weekend, Jo is a great teacher, just the right balance of fun and discipline so that you learn really good habits, design and produce a beautiful piece of stained glass art. I highly recommend this weekend course in her lovely studio.
Had an amazing three days at Hannah Stained Glass in Leeds. Jo was an absolutely brilliant tutor who loved to share her knowledge with us. I have never tried anything like this before but loved the precision and patience required to make your piece. From the first drawing to the final leading it was really rewarding and I am so proud of what I finally accomplished. I would highly recommend Hannah Stained Glass to everyone.
This was not my first stained glass course but I learnt a lot more this time round with the care and attention provided by our tutor, Jo, who clearly loves to inspire and teach students whilst instilling in us the attention and discipline needed in such an environment. Feeling like you wouldn't get anywhere at the start to suddenly having a piece of artwork that you are proud to own, what an achievement and all down to the constant patience and guidance provided - thank you!
Until I completed a challenging but enjoyable workshop with Jo-Ann I had no idea of the precision, care and attention require to produce even a simple piece of stained glass. I now have even greater admiration for the skill of this talented artist.
