I was very impressed with the doctor I spoke to today (Dr Isherwood), he was very thorough and knowledgeable and really wanted to help. He took lots of time to explain everything to me and sent me links to read. Well done Hanham health, not heard of this Dr before but really hope he is staying :-)
I rang to make an appointment to get a fit to work note. I waited over half an hour to get through and when I did the member of staff I spoke to was so abrupt and shut me down straight away, stating I didn't need 1 by law. I went on anima where I got an appointment straight away for the following Monday. When I visited the Dr that day he advised me that I did need a fit to work letter? Very frustrating.
As a social carer I deal with many gp this one seem to waste a lot of time and energy ,but not listening to patients.
Terrible service, good luck even getting an appointment, then if you do and it’s anything other than a routine everyday illness good luck getting diagnosed and treated. Never able to see the same doctor twice, I know the NHS is in a state but this is an absolute joke of a Practice. Avoid at all costs if at all possible. 5 years of chronic illness with absolutely zero progress.
