I sold my house with the team at Blackheath (Jack, Joe and Claire) whilst I was relocating overseas, and I can honestly say that their help and support made the whole process possible. Aside from the usual liaising with the buyers etc, they helped arrange access for trades people, with to the house to search through the documents I left for the new owners and even moved my table and chairs outside for them to be collected by the British Heart Foundation. Took 6+ weeks to get deposit back. Hamptons used every tactic to delay and justify inflated deductions — including last-minute “evidence” and exaggerated claims. I eventually accepted their offer just to move on, not because it was fair. Wouldn’t rent through them again. SE3 9BH
