Hammett House started operations in 1969 after almost 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Mrs. LaNelle Hammett. Now, after another 20 years of "dreaming and planning" on the part of Linda and Bill Biard we bring a remodeled, yet similar, Hammett House. Our goals are simple. We want to provide our guests with fine food, expertly served in a restful atmosphere, with plenty of "Southwestern Style" hospitality. Our menu is neither extensive nor expensive, but everything we do...we try to do extremely well!

Hammett House in Claremore, OK has went way down hill. This is their prime rib, which should be called “meat fat with whole garlic cloves!” It was disgusting to say the least.There was only 6 small bites of actual meat in this supposedly 14-16oz prime rib. Don’t waste your money, and if you do be sure to have mouthwash and stomach meds handy!

Service was great but the flirting amongst the employees was unprofessional! I’ve been here a few times within the last coupl months and it occurred on two occasions and I was waiting for a while to be served. Besides the obvious it was great!
