Been going to HRM for 15+ years for MOTs and associated work. Recently went for mot. Initially good communication and clear quote for work. Quote increased next day as they discovered something else and agreed to new quote. I then called every week for five weeks and told each time they were waiting for a part that should be there that day or the next. My heater blower stopped working in my car and I couldn’t demist the windscreen inside and the outside temperature has been -1. I rang HRM on Tuesday and told them what I thought the problem was and Matt at the garage told me to bring my car to the garage first thing Thursday morning, he told me there would be a charge for them to detect the problem. New to Bristol so it was the first garage I've used and will definitely be coming back. Super friendly staff and no faff. Called to book in for a quick repair and they were able to squeeze me in the next day. Didn't try to extend the labour and did what needed to be done at a good price. Would highly recommend. Thanks guys.
They attempted to diagnose a knocking/clicking noise but failed to find the source. They provided suggestions on how I can diagnose this via other garages. They provided all of this for free because they didn't fix the problem. Excellent service.
