My mum has been coming to hallgarth for periods of respite over the last 5 years. On her last visit in June 2022 she decided to extend the 2 weeks due to having so much fun and really enjoying the social aspect. The home where happy to accomidate and continue the respite. Mum is still going strong and thrieving to this day. We all work full time so knowing she has the 24 hour company and great friends really has put the famillies mind at ease. My mother recently stayed at Hallgarth for respite whilst me and my other half enjoyed a two week holiday. I could not recommend this home away from home enough. The attention to detail and level of care they have given my mother is beyond expectation. I cannot thank Emma and the girls enough.

My father in law stayed here for several months. He was not cared for. Tiny tiny room, broken light switch and pull cord. Dodgy furniture and no room to move. Medicines not organised. Mother in law had to make most of the effort. Radiators on constantly and always unpleasantly hot and stuffy. No privacy. Smelt awful. Food very basic. Some staff okay but most not interested. turned up unexpectedly and the staff were accommodating very friendly very pleasant and nothing was too much for them lovely clean home even the residents were friendly and Dawn that showed me round was lovely and even when going into a residents room always asked if it was ok for me to take a look in their room before entering .... nothing was too much .......thankyou ladies
