The bank was shut today with no warning or notice to customers. Very poor service. Lost a customer as result

Hate to say it as the girls are usually very helpful.....but since covid came about the place is hardly ever open. I've actually lost count of the amount of times I've tried to visit, and they've been closed. Often without even a notice to say why, and for how long. Pretty bad.

Fantastic customer service. Julie helped me and didn’t let me leave until she had sorted out my technical issues with some statements I was having. If covid wasn’t a thing, I would have hugged her so tight. The branch was clean and the other teller was making sure customers had their masks on properly and was super sweet asking if anyone needed a hand with anything, to just ask. Five stars all round.

Halifax bank like all bank's move's on with time's, however this is not always good for the public,for instance automated deposits and withdrawals,the ATM cannot read type written cheques,so you have to find a branch with tellers, good luck with one, withdrawals,if you want to withdraw more than£2500. you will have to call your bank to arrange this, not always convient,as for deposit accounts or i.s.a ,the interest rates are pathetic, this is not a criticism of just the Halifax but of all bank's,as for the staff at the Halif... read more

Had a problem with my card being blocked The problem was dealt with very efficiently. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Thank you.
