About this business
The Half Shell started out as a very small place with a few tables and a bar. A fun little "joint" where you could get oysters, shrimp, hamburgers, and really cold beer. It had the atmosphere of an old Panama City Beach "dive" with walls covered in dollar bills signed by customers. The cooking line was right behind the bar, so your bartender was also the cook. My favorite place to eat in Troy. The food is great. The shrimp always taste fresh.The hamburger steak is awesome. The device is fast. They also have several beers to try.

Food was good, service was lousy! Never got a refill on my drink even though I sat the glass on the edge of the table before I was halfway through the meal!
The oysters are fresh and I love the appetizers. The buffalo shrimp and fried pickles are my favorite.
