Worst service ever! Left because the waitress said we had a bad attitude because we didn't want cheese on the eggs. I will never go to gwennies AGAIN. THUMBS DOWN
Love this place. I used to eat there over 30 years ago when I was a kid, and it's just a great place to get solid Alaskan food, in an environment that reminds me of how Alaska used to be. Fantastic!
Great halibut and chips. Unique interior decorations. Friendly staff.
In town for one day, waiting a connection out of Ted Stevens Airport to the back country. I selected Gwennies Old Alaskan Restaurant because it was walking distance from my hotel. I ordered the halibut and fries. What I got was Gordon's Fishmen and some Ore-Ida fries. Service was excellent and atmosphere was authentic 49th State! I loved the old pictures that were displayed on the second story dinning area. Gwennies is a good place to grab a quick eat.
