Very nice place for sunny day. Difficulties with car park space if you come after 10.30am. Avoid sweet drinks or food as lots bees.
Really nice 50m outdoor pool with large grass area and well maintained gardens surrounding. The water is really warm (heated to 25°C I believe) and didn’t feel at all cold even on first entry, and the water is very clean. Good changing facilities but could do with more private showers. Great to be able to lane swim in the evenings but would be even better if the evening sessions started a bit earlier than 7pm.
Took time out for myself for a one hour swim in the humid afternoon. So quiet. Water so lush! Came last week with my teenage niece on a baking hot day. Had forgotten how lovely the pool was, so came again this week . It's a lovely place. Free parking. Reasonable entrance price for me today, excellent value if you came all day. Reception staff are a little surly. Facilities cleaner today then last week but if you wear sliders you're fine.
