Fixed the leak but broke my vaccuum cleaner in the process. I borrowed the plumber my hoover, it was returned all right at first glance, but upon use made the whole room sink of chemicals (resin/solvents) and in a couple of minutes went silent never to switch back again. No idea what he vaccuumed anyway as the room was left covered in debris. 100 pounds more expensive repair than expected. Class act and very happy. Showed up when expected and work was carried out to a high standard. Stuck to agreed price before work commenced and even did a quick check of all adjacent pipes to the work he carried out. Even rarer for a tradesperson, tidied up everything after he was done.
