Receptionists are sharp and rude when booking an appointment. No issues with actual gp appointment but when asking simple questions the attitude from the receptionist staff is appalling, condescending snd unnecessary. Very strong feeling of being an inconvenience even though that’s the role they’re paid to do. If a person needs further guidance on the processes of booking an appointment that is a perfectly valid question which should be given a respectful response not one reeking of self importance. I have been with this surgery ten years and whenever I hear about people moaning about “all doctors surgeries” in Carlisle I always tell them how GH is different. Whenever I have called I have rarely waited over 5 mins for my call to be answered. The last two times I have called this surgery my call has been no1 in the que and the phone as been answered immediately. Just had today 21.5 .25 a telephone conversation with an amazing helpful lady called chris she was so helpful and talked through my issues and was amazing at her job explaining about my ex ray on my knee thank u so much amazing lady
