The food is great esp their signature dish, fish n chips. It's light and non greasy. The tarter aside made there is light and doesn't have a heavy taste. Just perfect. Server Maggie was a delight!

We love the Gris. Good food, good music, and always a good time. It's a Connecticut treasure.
Always one of our favorite places. We spent our wedding night here and return back every year for our anniversary, this was our 27th! The menu was a little different this year but was still good, I had the stuffed shrimp and my husband had the scallops. We usually come back next week for his birthday and his favorite shad dinner, but they don't always have it.
The Bees � had so much fun. Always a good time. 7 of us go every year. Today was beautiful out. Shops were adorable. Walk to the water was amazing. Highly recommend.
One of my all time favorites. Especially around the holidays, it's spectacular! The Gris, however, is festive throughout the year. The wine bar is cozy and has great food and atmosphere. The tap room always has live music and is so much fun. Can't wait for my next chance to be here!
Great atmosphere, service was good. I ordered the clam chowder which was tasty but had absolutely no clams just potato. I was definitely disappointed . My Cod entree was fresh and very nicely prepared. Would not order the clam chowder again.
The Griswold Inn's Potato-Crusted Cod is absolutely delicious..... There is no fish that comes close! We had a group of 24, and everything came out on-time, hot and ready! Accompanied by smooth mashed potatoes, perfectly-cooked broccilli/cauliflower, and apple turnover with fresh whipped cream, the meal was unparelleled!
