My boyfriend and I had gone here for the first time yesterday. It was absolutely wonderful! On a hot summer day- in the heat- was even wonderful. I loved the idea of having an open area of having live music with misting fans and benches all around to wait for your name be called. So cool. It was just us 2 and we went on a Monday (Labor day) around about 12:30ish. Seemed to be good timing, our wait wasn't too long. We finally got called and we're taken to our table. It is on the short list of places I eat when I visit Texas. Ribs are amazing and perfect every time. I love the sides; coleslaw, pinto beans, mashed potatoes...

I had the chicken fried steak and it was really good. My date said her hamburger was the best she'd ever had. We left full with smiles on our faces. Service was really good.

After all if the hype everyone put into this place I was rather disappointed. Maybe the staff had an off day and the service and food are usually top notch. Not today. I never order steak, yesterday I did and it was not what I expected. The asked me how everything was, and I told her. Her response was just at a simple, im sorry, well I hope to see you again.
