We had a group of 32, " we took up 3 tablets " restaurant was packed but we only had about a 30 minute wait.. ( this place knows what it is doing).. maybe another 10 minutes for the food.. we all got it about the same time.. food was really good and the wait staff were very friendly.. not over priced.. I will go back again...

Lived in Texas for over 20 years and never been to Gruene before! This place is gorgeous and the people are so friendly! Saw Mitch Webb and the Swindles at Gruene Hall, they were absolutely fantastic! I will make it a point to go back to Gruene often!

Always awesome! Come hungry, because you will have huge portions of everything! Chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes are the best! Friendly staff!
Great food with an amazing view! If you would like to eat in a relaxing place with sound of river passing through, you just found the place. We were just passing by New Braunsfel and happened to pick this place.

Food is always yummy, fresh and homemade!! They also have a fabulous jalapeño margarita with Codigo tequila.
Excellent food and wonderful friendly service! The cole slaw is very good, interesting dressing using apple cider vinegar opposed to the white vinegar us Czech's typically use! Can't wait to return!
