Excellent place service was great and atmosphere I loved it also food delicious!
We had burgers and fries. Very good. Service was excellent. Loved sitting outside. Great view.
The food is good, but not exceptional. My mother has a walker and it's very hard for her to get to. In addition to that, they want to put us deep inside the restaurant when there were several places closer for her. I had to request a table that was closer to the door.
I went for the first time with my 2 daughters for one of my daughters birthday and we loved it. We had an amazing view of the Guadalupe River. The drinks and food were amazing. My daughter even got an amazing free dessert for her birthday. But most if all our server Sharon was amazingly sweet, attentive, friendly and made us feel very welcomed. I would definitely recommend this place and i will be back.

There is no place like the Gristmill in Gruene, it's a big beautiful open restaurant, you end up sitting in the tree tops feeling the breeze and seeing the trees sway. The staff reminds me I'm in Texas, home sweet home, with their personable kindness and professional grace of service. The food...oh my, oh my, the food..amazing. Went Mother's Day and had a party of 11. Staff was great and food was great. Great location in a little Texas town. It dones not get much better.
On Mothers Day 2017 The service was great, the wait reasonable and food was awesome.
Service was great and so was the food. I had the blackened salmon and enjoyed every bite.
