Can't beat the atmosphere... just beautiful! Server asked us all to cut our steaks to see if they were cooked to order. Hubby's steak was over cooked, but no time to wait on new one. The other 3 were cooked as ordered. Love how you can wait while listening to live music drinking a old drink. I enjoyed my visit, however my husband didn't and left hungry.
Most of the grist at Gristmill was the gristle in the ribeye. It just wasn't a very high quality piece of meat.

This restaurant was excellent! In the Grist Mill with all the12" plank wood floors. Special! The waiter was wonderful and attentive. T he food was delicious...at least the steak and steamed vegetables were....dessert too! Will definitely go back if we ever get back to Canyon Lake.
