Atmosphere is great...uniquely Texas. Music was good and well amplified. It was extremely crowded but the restaurant was running smoothly. Staff was courteous and very helpful. They found my 8 month pregnant daughter in law a chair instead of the bench to sit on. We dined outside and it was surprisingly pleasant in the evening. I give the food 3/5 stars. Good but nothing special. Strawberry margaritas were a hit with the drinkers in our group. Fun evening!
Everything is delicious but we also love the view!! We make a trip there once a month from Corpus Christi. We definitely don't mind the wait!!
Had to send a 8 ounce steak back 3 times. They didn't know how to cook it medium.. Thats why we gave it 3 stars. They finally made it right and were very professional about it. Dont worry, we'll be back! Great place, nice people!
Great service, great Food, great seats. I have nothing to complain about, I know humans work there and just like at home sometimes I may miss a spot here or there... as long as they make it right. They always do from what I have heard.
The Gristmill is such a great place to dine on the river with friends and family, the food is always amazing and the margs. are even better! Not to mention the service is top notch (they even replaced my meal when I forget my leftovers!) hands down my favorite place in Gruene �
