Greg & Lou’s Family Restaurant was established in 1983 by Louis and Rachel Kanan (mom and dad) and their son Greg and his wife Debbie. Bought as a Mini Mart with groceries and a small eatery it gradually became a full dine in restaurant as it is today. In 1996 Louis and Rachel retired and Greg has continued the tradition of good home cooked food and a family atmosphere. Normally when I eat at Greg and Lou's everything is outstanding! But yesterday I stopped in for breakfast and tried the hash brown casserole. I was not impressed at all! My hash browns were way undercooked and a bit raw and crunchy and it did not seem as though there was any cheese in it like the menu stated. Hopefully the next time I stop in I will have a better experience.
First-timer. I ordered breakfast--eggs were perfect! Waitstaff were great. Definitely will go again!
This was my first time here and I found them to have good, solid comfort food. The wait staff was friendly and prompt. My food (the chopped steak) was hot and tasty. I also got "suckered" into buying one of the pecan rolls at the checkout. If you do nothing else, get one of those. Amazing.
Love this resturaunt the staff was friendly and the breakfast delicious. Had a wonferful time!
great place to eat the waiters are great too and the pie's and cake's are out of this world
