Greg & Lou’s Family Restaurant was established in 1983 by Louis and Rachel Kanan (mom and dad) and their son Greg and his wife Debbie. Bought as a Mini Mart with groceries and a small eatery it gradually became a full dine in restaurant as it is today. In 1996 Louis and Rachel retired and Greg has continued the tradition of good home cooked food and a family atmosphere. Our first time here earlier this afternoon! Wow we didn't know what we had been Missing. My husband had the salmon patties with Mac n cheese and loved it. I had the pan fried walleye and it was superb.

We’ve ate here many a times & have never been disappointed. If you want your Fries extra crispy, need extra sauce, more coffee or pop, no problem. Their Friday night special is awesome !! Prime Rib, shrimp, potato, salad & dessert is way too much. The PR comes on its own plate. Their homemade desserts are great. Price is a little above average but worth it.
The fish pan fried was amazing. Sweet popatoe fries where nice and crisp. Not a lot of wait time. Staff very friendly. Great experience.
