We had never been gem mining before and decided to stop in here for our first time. We had a wonderful experience! We were so surprised to find several valuable stones and even had one cut and set in a ring in Facets of Foscoe, which is the jewelry store that is part of the business. The staff was amazingly nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about what we had found and which stones were worth anything. We've been coming here since about 1990 and have always enjoyed our visits! It's a great gem mine with buckets full of beautiful gems and friendly service. My daughters were 1 and 6 when we first started coming here from Florida and they're now 23 and 28 and my 7-year-old granddaughter has visited as well! I'd recommend it to folks of all ages!!

We had a great time mining for gems here. The staff are really nice, and know their gems. We had several cut at Facets of Foscoe, and they were beautiful. (We had previously had gems cut at another mine and they were butchered). They will even mail you a box of rocks, which is super cool since we live 5 hours away. Can't wait to go back!
