Absolutely great family place. My family has vacationed in the area for 20+ years and now this has become one of our must do every year. It's a fun experience for kids, families, grandparents, etc.... Always fun finding the gems. Great staff and an absolute must to go next store and have something made into jewelry! Really, really good people and do exceptional work cutting the stones. We will be back on our next trip!!

Our family had a great time at the mining company. We found lots of great stones and Matt over at the jewelry store was awesome to work with. He cut some of our stones for us and we had some really pretty rings made. We will definitely be back!

My family really enjoyed our experiences here. We found lots of nice gems which we ended up having made into jewelry. When we came back to pick it up, we decided to do it again & had even better luck with a larger bucket. My kids got so excited each time they found something special. Everyone here is really nice & friendly. Great staff.

Fun for the entire family! It was like Christmas opening gifts when finding gems. All of the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The gemologist on site was a huge bonus. Had some custom earrings made from Sapphires found. Highly recommend the larger buckets. The bigger the bucket, the bigger the gems!

I have been to many mining establishments, the staff was knowledgeable, however for the price of the buckets compared to what we found we were disappointed. We didn't find anything worth cutting, although we did get a very nice geode, overall it wasn't worth the price for us.
