I absolutely loved this. We had so much fun and got such amazing stones we went back two days later. Matt was amazing and especially patient.
We absolutely loved this place! Our 2 year old son had a blast today. The staff was absolutely the greatest. So glad we chose to come to this gem mine. We will definitely be back in the future. Everyone was super nice to us! ( You guys ROCK ) lol
Went to this mining facility during our Memorial weekend and we had an amazing time. We’ve been to a few other mining companies, but usually went home empty handed or with cheap stones. At The Greater Foscoe Mining Company, we found Emeralds, Sapphires, Rubies, etc. It was fantastic! Special shout outs to the guys that helped us, Adam, Tucker, Zac and Matt! Thanks!

When we first arrived I was a little worried cause it didn't look like much. The water just sits in the trough instead of running through the trough like I had seen at other places. We bought the $53 bucket for a 3 year old, 6 year old & 9 year old to share and they all found lots of nice size rock including a geo which they cut for us next door at the jewlery store. This is a great place! And when you find stones (and you will!) go next door to Facets of Foscoe and see Matt. He is the most amazing gem person....but take your wallet because he has some breathtaking gems.
The kids loved it there there talked for days about how much fun it was. And the worker how I wish I remember his name I know we was a college student very kind guy and helped us every step of the way. And knew alot about the gyms .

The mine staff was amazing, we found lots of gems and it was a lot of fun. With that being said going over to see Matt we had some jewelry made and the estimated value he told us our jewelry was worth turned out to be way off the actual value. I was not pressured to buy anything but spending nearly $1600.00 and find out it was really only worth about $400 the value of the gold hurt. So go have fun finding gems then take them home and put them in a bowl and tell everyone where they came from.
