After calling several companies to compare prices, Great American Moving & Storage was the only one that followed up as they said they would with a written e-mail stating what they told me over the phone. A few days later a friendly follow up phone call from their sales rep just to see if we had any questions about the quote. Just thanking will not be enough after what great american moving & storage did to move us from Washington to South Carolina. They were very punctual, hardworking, skilled, committed and affordable to use. I heard about this company from one of my friends and called them for a quote. Thanks to the sales rep and the entire team of great american moving & storage for a picture perfect move. I never thought of having such a smooth and stress free move because I booked them at the last minute when the original company did not show up. They have not only offered us a better deal, they also made sure that I receive all my belongings at the other end within the allotted time and without any damage. I hardly move / relocate because I just hate to relocate. But I had to move from Oklahoma to Washington for the sake of my parents. I decided to give the complete package to a good moving company. Well moves are never completely carefree - they are stressful. And my wife and I had not moved further than 6 miles in over 35 years - OK I date myself - so what. This crew was fantastic. The foreman was extraordinary finding 3 items in 3 different boxes when my wife realized she had forgotten to put them aside for our trip. WOW - I could not recommend great american moving & storage more highly - and SO competitive in terms of price with 2 other long distance companies.

The team called me half an hour before my scheduled pick up and asked if they could come early or if I needed to wait until the scheduled time. I was ready to get the show on the road and they were there right away. Getting started early?! Not at all, what I expected and a great start to the experience. Start of the move was terrific and the end too was outstanding. No damage to anything, no delay or no additional cost! It was complete a stress free, smooth and quick move.

I heard from a lot of friends that using a moving company to do your move was risky. Later I did my research online, so the reviews were warning me for scams and moving brokers. After calling me about their possible delay because of the traffic, the movers from Great American Moving & Storage showed up on time and acted very professional. A pleasant introduction was preceded by wrapping of my furniture and taking good care of all items. All the furniture of my three bedrooms was packed and loaded into the truck in less than five hours. Five days later all the furniture was delivered, I had no broken Items and the furniture was not even dusty.
