We had previously experienced such a bad moving experience that we tried very hard to do as much research as possible for our next move. After researching as much as we could, Great American changed our mind positively and immediately we contacted them The office staff are very accommodating and helpful. The day after our move, the horror of unpacking over 100 boxes became apparent. As we whittled the pile down box by box over the weeks and then months, my wife realized that a few items were missing and somehow didn't make the move. I requested a quote online and this company was one of the companies that called me offering me a free quote. The sales guy, Ben was very patient while taking my inventory he took the time to personalize each room with a specific name according to my needs. Great American were the best movers I've hired and well worth the price, especially since there reliable. I booked the move a week in advance, Arthur and Carlos showed up to help me move on my cross town move they called me about an hour early to start the move, so I had someone else let them in to get things done there was no problems. I moved from downtown Washington to California and the whole process from door to signing bill was five hours, four a large one bedroom with elevator on one end and stairs at the delivery. This was my first time using a moving company out of all 5 times I have moved and it was definitely a good experience. Through the booking process, Great American Moving & Storage was very responsive, answering every single one of my e-mails and phone calls (I changed my moving date three times so there were several calls and e-mails). I used Great American Moving for a long distance move I had about a month ago ( refrigerator, large desk, my whole house etc). Kyle and his guys did such a great job, very professional, on-time and fast since I was on a time limit. I had them come back again for me to do a larger move, long distance for my company and they did a great job again. I would highly recommend Great American Moving again. All around five star movers

Just used these guys for a medium sized move from WA to CA. They were amazing! When looking for moving companies, all I found were big companies that had call centers that were obviously trying to overcharge or small companies that wouldn't pick up the phone. These guys were just right: Very professional and had insurance but didn't have the large overhead big companies had so they didnt have the need to gouge me in pricing. I really enjoyed my experience with Great American Movers. They were wonderful throughout the whole process, extremely helpful and professional. They made it possible for me to travel to AZ with my 3 pets without no need to worry about nothing but getting down to my new home. They did a great job packing and unpacking.
