My grandmother is passing currently at the intensive care unit...while waiting to take her off the breathing machine today the nursing staff and the doctors were so wonderful..still taking care if her needs and keeping her comfortable while being compassionate to our family and taking the time to patiently answer questions and explain things...thank you from all of us !!

I will say that the nursing care was wonderful but the entire discharge process is horrible. ..spouse had surgery and was placed on 24 hr observation. A doctor never came by his room and did the discharge I assume based off the nurses report. I am very upset and feel that this is not good care...what if we had questions or wanted explanations of test results? This is our second time at Grant and while they do some things well I have had.issues with lack of doctor care and interaction with patients and families. I will be voi... read more
I think Grant is amazing! I encourage everyone to stay within Ohio health!
My 71 year old father came in with a brain tumor which he had before but needed removed again. He spent several days in grant mind you he was feeble and did not know what he was doing completely. He Spent Two Days IN RESTRANTS before I was able to make it there all for talking out of his head and was supposibly being offensive to the female nurses on night shift . The year was 1993. The nurse was Sherri (not sure about the spelling of her name) I remember it was her birthday when we met. She was about 33 yrs old then. If anyone knows this angel and she remembers me please tell her to get in touch.
Just avoid this place. It's as bad as you think it is.
Grant Trama Unit is the best. They took great care of my husband after his accident. The nurses and aides on the 5th floor were fantastic.
Terrible. Been here for 5 hours in the dark and just now getting a ct scan after 5 hours. Awful. The staff makes it seem like they are doing me a favour when my insurance is giving them thousands for this visit. Just pitiful. If I haven't have already stayed for 5 hours I would leave. This is ridiculous.
