The nurses couldn't have been friendlier and more patient. However, both times I've stayed at Grant, they've been extremely distracted and disorganized. The lady who took my blood tried to get me to do her job for her by telling her where to put the needle lol. The nurses were always extremely late in bringing me my pain medication and pain control was my daily plan. Night shit crew is abominable, rude and loud. Day shift were all pleasent and sweet.
Slow! Rude staff members, incompetent nurses. Lack of communication between residents. Nurses and doctors just standing around talking when there are patients waiting to be discharged. This hospital really needs to be shut down. I don't see how anyone can rate this place a 5
I'm not happy at all with Grant they messed up my hand by leaving the plastic piece of the iv in my hand and had to have surgery Monday and now Can't stop vomiting and running mild fever and extreme pain 10+ and the doctor dont care he keeps giving me meds by mouth and I vomit and I'm hear crying begging for something because I can't handle the pain and nurse also asking for iv meds and doctor won't listen it's messed up because your nurse left it in me she wasn't paying attention and because of her I had to get surgery and ... read more
I really want to take the time to Thank the nurses and the Doctor that took care of my mother. All the way to the end when she took her last breath they were by her side. Thank you for such great care. REST IN PEACE BETTY CARTER. .
The best treat patients with concern and respect
The hospital has one of the best reputations in Columbus and the staff could not have been better. They made a stressful and worrisome experience manageable. That is except for two things... One of the overnight RNs Aaron on the 8th floor is a real 'charmer'. We came to call him 'Romeo' because of his advances on my gf - who was also the patient. Every hour on the hour she had to put up with him asking how long she and I had been together, complain about his singleness and placing his hand on her leg as he walked away. Today... read more
