Excellent communicator, listener and surgeon. I was apprehensive about surgery and long recovery of my dominant hand after a UCL tear of thumb. He discussed both the non-surgical and surgical options laying emphasis on pros & cons of both and how post surgical recovery could be moulded to my occupational demands and lifestyle. 3 months post-surgery, my handwriting is back to what it was pre-injury, thanks to an understanding and skillful surgeon!!

Honestly one of the best appointments I have had with a Doctor. Dr. Lohse is an excellent listener, excellent communicator, and explained several treatment options. The appointment was not rushed, you can tell he cares deeply about his patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Lohse

Dr. Lohse is a great surgeon and a dedicated physician. There are a variety of ways to treat my chronic hand condition, and he took the time to discuss them. He also recognized my own knowledge and experience of this condition from a lifetime of dealing with it and asked great questions that led to the best intervention. Very good!
Dr. Lohse helped diagnosed an elbow injury then gave me options that would give me the best results. The surgery he performed was a huge success and my elbow is healing and my active lifestyle is back in motion. I recommend Dr. Lohse 1000% for elbow injuries.

My daughter had a horrible accident and Lohse was able to restore her walking abilities. He and his team are amazing and wonderful humans. We are so lucky to have him and his team working in our area. He’s a wonderful, amazing surgeon and person.
