Just saw Dr. Lohse for an evaluation of carpal tunnel syndrome last week. He was very thoughtful and very patient in his explanations, as I had a lot of questions. His prompt personal phone call with test results is much appreciated. He has an affable nature and depth of knowledge that allowed me to really consider any and all options without feeling any pressure. I'm so grateful to have been referred to him!
He is a very personable doctor and he cares about his patients.
Dr. Lohse preformed a complicated shoulder surgery for me. I got a recommendation to talk to him after my ER visit when I broke my shoulder. Dr. Lohse made time to meet with me, listened to my concerns and even found me an eye surgeon to repair my orbital fracture. I have mild hemophilia so Dr. Lohse coordinated with my hematologist to ensure I was pretreated correctly and the other doctor so I could get both surgeries done at the same time. Dr. Lohse and PA Darcy was willing to see our daughter on a very short notice (late night call to next day early morning appt). We were able to book with him very quickly and they immediately took X-rays to see how severe the problem was with her elbow. They both have excellent interpersonal skills and provided highly quality expertise. I normally don’t give out 5 stars but they both deserve it. Thank you! - Henry ( Olivia’s dad)
Dr. Lohse is special. It’s great that the elbow feels better post surgery, but there are a lot of good surgeons in the world. Dr. Lohse goes the extra mile in everything. He’s pleasant, personable and most importantly clearly cares. He just left me MRI results at 7:15 at night because he knew I’m fretting about them. Top class doctor and top class human being.
Three visits for broken ankle at Weeks 0, 6 and 11 after break. Very friendly and approachable, gave excellent consulting, explained situation clearly, answered questions well, always upbeat attitude, gave good recommendations.
Exceptional caring service by both Dr. Lohse and Erin. They really aim to care for their patients and heal the ailments; which is uncommon in today’s health care system. Five stars, highly recommend.
Excellent communicator, listener and surgeon. I was apprehensive about surgery and long recovery of my dominant hand after a UCL tear of thumb. He discussed both the non-surgical and surgical options laying emphasis on pros & cons of both and how post surgical recovery could be moulded to my occupational demands and lifestyle. 3 months post-surgery, my handwriting is back to what it was pre-injury, thanks to an understanding and skillful surgeon!!
I felt cared for. He wasn’t in a hurry. Excellent information on my hand problem. Would definitely recommend.
