Grand Itasca shouldn’t even be allowed to be open anymore. First the dropped the ball on my grandma’s chemo and now they dropped the ball on my grandma’s genetic testing and now that my grandma is passed on my family will never know if the rest of us women have a high risk of ovarian cancer as well. Please anyone that sees this go somewhere else for services so you get better care
This hospital is the most inconsiderate for expecting mothers or mothers who just gave birth. Please go to deer river or drive to Duluth to have your child. I went to visit my sister who just had her baby. Because of Covid they do the screening and all of that which I understand. I went through the screening I was told I didn’t need a mask because I have issues with my health and have fainted and I really don’t want to get dizzy right before I hold a baby so they let me through. I like my Dr. She listens to me. I don't care for some of the other Drs. I don't like they fired the Dr who did my shoulder. I don't care for the Dr they had that took over the case Some things are fine, some aren't.
The Emergency department has doctors that refuse to treat chronically ill patients seeking help for pain management
My Mom was brought in to the ER last weekend. The nurse in the ER was excellent! When my Mom was admitted she had Dr. Harker and Nurse Korin. She received excellent care! Thank you for all you did for her! My sister and I were impressed with everyone at the hospital. They were helpful and kind.
