Took my wife to celebrate her BD. Food was excellent, service could use some tweaking. We waited in the bar for our table to be prepared and they forgot about us. Ordered a bottle of wine and it took an unusually long time to be “found”. Asked for Tabasco Sauce when ordering my appetizer, it didn’t come until I was halfway done. When paying $100 a plate for dinner, I expect the details to be attended to, not forgotten.
One of the lounge staff members was very rude. We had a few drinks and ordered food to go. The waitress (Allie) came up and dropped off plates and I tried telling her we got it to go when she put her hand in my face and told me I had to wait until after she took someone else's order. She was also extremely rude to my mom. We are staying here and definitely going elsewhere for food and drinks! One experience ruined a day that was otherwise great.
Had a great time eating lunch with my wife!, But my burger was burnt! Or well done!! but not burnt! See you guys for Soberfest I’m on the committee 😇🏾
Always a relaxing, refreshing and enjoyable experience at the Grand Geneva. It’s the favorite place that my husband and I like to celebrate our anniversary every year. Beautiful property. Spectacular service. Highly rrecommend!!
Its always fun to take my toddler here. Be very careful about any promotions though, I had a coupon from TripAdvisor and called ahead to go over the details. The agent was not sure so she looped a manager into the process. We went over the all-in fee including the $25 resort fee a few times- it was a good deal. They said just print it out and bring it to checkout. Then I drive there to check in and its $60 more for two nights, and there was not a free dining experience nor spa treatment. Completely over priced for what they offer. You would think they would have enough pool space for at least half the guests but nope,couldn’t even find a chair and the pool was disgusting. It was cloudy, band aids and hair floating in it not to mention the beer cans all around. I wouldn’t go back here if it was free nor would I recommend it.
We just had our wedding here (Memorial weekend 2018). The staff from our coordinator, chef, baker, set up/tear down crew, bellboys, bartenders, and so many others were outstanding! Our wedding guests were in awe and with all the activities to do for the entire weekend. Very accommodating and the grounds were superb! Can’t wait to celebrate anniversaries here for years to come!
