The hotel floor was disgusting, our feet were filthy simply from walking in our room. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING from the room beside of you.
I purchased the water park; room for the kids to have a blast. We were there for 3 hours at the water park and finally went back to our room (1130pm) and the kids found roaches in their bed. They did refund our room for us to relocate to another hotel but the only reason we booked a one night stay with the water park was to be at the water park. Unfortunately I did not read the reviews on this “resort” and I could have saved $$. The check in process was quick and easy. The “resort” is a run down hotel, basically compared to a motel 6. The room was DISGUSTING we had to wear shoes the entire time to avoid getting black feet. The water park is a joke, if your child is not at least 48” tall there is nothing for them to do. RecommendedThis place is great for a family weekend getaway! So much to do for all ages!
I love almost everything about grand country in. my only concern was there were no lifeguards @ the outdoor pool. I'm not sure if its required or not but definitely should be.. My son, 13yrs old saved another young boys life around 5pm ystrdy 8/17. I was amazed & discombobulated @ the same time. We left very shortly after. But all else was a great experience!
