Completely disgusted with your bill on adoption. There are hundreds of thousands of same-sex, atheist, Jewish, and Islamic couples who would make amazing parents. Your job is to speak for Texans, and you have failed this state.
The fact that a disabled human is ok with taking away others rights is sickening. This administration has been detrimental for Texas since the beginning. I can't wait until November 6th 2018 so we can vote you out.
What is going on with some of Texas's law enforcement agencies? There are multiple media reports of officers over-stepping their authority and harming the citizenry (e.g., El Paso FBI agent Byers reportedly assaulting a man for filming on a public sidewalk - the citizen was doing nothing wrong), or using excessive force. I voted for you and really thought that you would be a step up from our previous governor. I am ashamed to say I voted for you - I am a teacher and your office has done everything it can to destroy our profession. My parents are/were educators, too. I voted for you and consider myself a strong Republican, but I cannot vote for someone who chooses to not take care of teachers. I have taught for 25 years and would love to teach longer, but the recent changes in the TRS system will cause me to retire early an go to work in the industry in order to be able to provide insurance for my wife.
