29 years as a public educator, support public education, fix the problems and properly fund state mandates, use the money spent on testing to help make stronger schools.
NO TO VOUCHERS! No to Abbot & Patrick! So much being done by this special session that negatively affects educators, but most especially our most vulnerable public school students!
As a public school educator, I am so disappointed in the way you and the Lt. Governor are treating teachers. I have been teaching for 20 years and I teach special needs children. What you are trying to do to public education is criminal and you will not have my vote come election time unless things make a huge change.

While I can agree on many conservative issues with you, the defunding of public schools, the high stakes testing, the wasteful spending on useless educational gimmicks, the treatment of active and retired teachers, the disastrous shape of TRS, the overly expensive insurance and the money funneled into vouchers makes me regret my original support. This conservative will be voting pro-education in the future and therefore cannot support any further campaigns by this administration.
Why do you ignore the concerns of Muslims & us LGBT people? Why do you seek to impose your extreme conservative, theocratic views on those of us who do not share your fascist, so-called "Christian" ideology? Why do you want to dictate who can use the bathroom when you have no proof that transgender women are a public danger? This man is a bigot. That's all that needs to be said.
Disgusted by this administration and its stance on bathroom laws and treatment of LGBTQ+ community and their rights. Furthermore, I am extremely disappointed with its gun policy among many other things. Greg Abbott is not my governor.
