Governor Abbott, We need a second special session, a third, fourth what ever it takes to get this annexation bill right! I am requesting that the new special session start at 12:00am the morning of Thursday August 16, 2017! Do not let our legislature go home until they get it done! SB6 annexation reform is unconstitutional under it's current form to apply to cities over a population number but not to All Citizens of Texas. If a city is under 500k you do not have a choice to be annexed. If over 500k it takes a vote of approva... read more

You are a disgrace to future generations of Texans. Never have I witnessed such malfeasance towards public education.

You claim to support small government yet are working to undermine city governments. The entire congress just voted to overturn your attack on disabled children. You seem to have developed amnesia claiming you care about maternal mortality right after you vetoed a bill that would study why more Texan women die within a year of childbirth than in many third world countries. You use the division in this country to further pit fellow Texans against each other rather than working to unify and strengthen our great state. If 0 sta... read more

I wish that governor Abbot would stop allowing cuts to the sick and disabled children, adults and elderly. Its cruel to cut therapy that will help quality of life , and the star kids program! its just a bad joke, give traditional medicaid back to those who really need it and leave the children's medicaid alone. You would think him being disabled he would have compassion ,but no he doesn't just keeps approving cuts to life saving medicaid and therapy.. Its disgusting.. Those legislators who passed that bathroom bill should've... read more

What happened in the 85th is happening again in special session. Governor, please demand fair floor votes in the Texas House. Our reps were sent to Austin to vote on behalf of their districts. If you are not going to take action why did you call a special session? It is more time and money. Thank you
