I had an appointment at Ker Practice. I arrived 6 minutes late because I was stuck in traffic and started calling them. They put me in a queue and I stood in the queue until I arrived. When I arrived I saw that no one was using the phone, it was free but I was still in the queue on the phone. When I explained the situation the girls looked at me like I was stupid and said I had missed my appointment even though I was only 6 minutes late. Absolute joke of a place.. receptionist needs re-trained in how to not be an abrasive and unsympathetic person.. making people feel like they are disturbing them when calling up
I joined the Kerr practice last year, and was nervous due to these reviews but I have had nothing but really positive experiences. Moving to the uk for the first time, there was a bit of setup involved in getting medical records/prescriptions set up. I’ve met a couple of girls at reception, had a call with one of their doctors (sorry not sure of their names) and just had an in person check up with Nurse Johnston. generally great staff and people, just raging a confidential voicemail was left to an number other than mine and the difficulty of phoning the practice
Lied about whether or not they were terminating my being a patient here and only informed me now that I’m very ill and needing help. Despicable.
