This review is not about service received from Golden Oak Lending, but is a COMPLAINT of its Promotional Flyer I received that states its regard to my Lender but also states the company has NO affiliation with my home Lending company. I received a manila colored envelope with "NOTHING" indicating the company's name, address, city, and zip code. So I had to open the letter. This company doesn't include a return address on the OUTSIDE of the envelope so people CAN'T return it to them. This type of behavior represents "POOR BUS... read more

My review isn't about the level of service they do or don't provide, rather a review of their deceptive advertising practices, specifically what they mail to people. Just received a letter in the mail today and this is my feedback regarding it. The letter is intentionally nondescript and a solicitation for you to refinance. NO WHERE on the letter OR envelope is the name of the company. No where on the letter do you even reference who you are.
