Editing my review, there was a misunderstanding on who was responsible for the issue I had and I placed the blame on this company. While it really has cost me hundreds and hundreds of pounds, and I'm going to be struggling to foot this bill for years, at least I can't place much blame on Gold Star directly and can say they eventually helped me resolve the issue perfectly. I've used GSGS for some years and have found them very sound. Till this year they were doing my Gas boiler's service annually and one time needed a repairs, with no fuss and problems. This month my 14 year old Boiler broke-down. GSGS assessed the problem, and gave options on costs and the future prospects on its life. Hi, I have nothing but praise for the service I have had from Gold Star Gas Services, from the initial request to get a quote for a new boiler, through the inspection, quote and fitting of the new boiler. The administration and coordination of the job from the lady in the office was first class and the engineer who fitted the boiler was excellent, personable and made sure he cleaned up as he went along, leaving no mess. Recently had a new combi boiler installed by Gold Star gas services. Received an excellent and professional service from everyone involved. Jay, Gavin & George fitted the new boiler and were really friendly, helpful and informative ... nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend Gold Star gas services.
Great service offered by Jay, Gavin and George. Friendly crew who did a great job fitting our new boiler, radiators, control system and other bits. Arrived and finished the job when they said they would and cleared all the mess up before they left. All very well coordinated by Louise in the office. Highly recommended company.
